Is Apple promoting the use of the plural third-person pronoun "they" as a gender neutral singular pronoun?

I've never been a fan of gender neutral language, not because I hate women, but because it's often clumsy and creates unnecessary kinks in my thought patterns and sentences. But this, I like. I've long been a fan of using the neutral "they" in place of he or she or he/she or s/he. If Apple can do it, I can too right?
